Cancel Booking

POST

/properties/{tenant_id}/bookings/{booking_id}/cancel

Cancel an existing booking and all its associated booking rooms. All unpaid payments will be marked as cancelled. All booking rooms will have their check-in status set to cancelled.

Scope Required: bookings:write

URL Parameters:

• booking_id (required): The ID of the booking to cancel (must exist and be cancellable)

Important Notes:

• Only bookings with status that allows cancellation can be cancelled
• The booking must pass the canCancel check (see Booking model)
• All unpaid payments will be automatically cancelled
• All booking rooms will be marked as cancelled
• Room charges will be recalculated after cancellation
